Quantitative MRI: Methods and Experimental Studies

Mark Does is Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Radiology and Radiological Sciences, and the Director of the Center for Small Animal Imaging.

Mark Does and his group are interested in developing and applying MRI methods to quantitatively characterise various properties and/or compositions of tissue. To this end, they develop models of NMR relaxation and water diffusion in tissue, develop and optimise MRI pulse sequences and associated technology, and experimentally investigate in vivo and ex vivo tissue models.

The Global Excellence Seminar takes place in the MR Conference Room on 8 January 2018 at 14:00.
