Carl-Johan Boraxbekk's research career took another important step when he yesterday, 19 September 2017, at the age of 37, was appointed full Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience of Aging at Umeå University.

"I am really excited about this, of course. It shows that hard work does pay off," CJ says with a smile. He will continue to share time between DRCMR and Umeå, and this new position will pave the way for more future fruitful collaborations.
