"Optimizing magnetic brain stimulation for future personalized treatment of depression".
Hvidovre Hospital is looking for participants for a new project, which seeks to optimize clinical depression treatment methods. The study is completely harmless and safe, involving magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), electroencephalography (EEG) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) methods.
You can participate if you are:
- 18 to 40 years old.
- Fluent in English and/or Danish
You cannot participate if you have/are:
- Personal history of neurologic and psychiatric diseases
- Current intake of medications that include antidepressants, anxiolytics, anticonvulsants, antipsychotics, antiparkinson, hypnotics, stimulants, and/or antihistamines.
- Epilepsy
- Pregnancy or breast feeding
- Claustrophobic
- Pacemaker or remaining pacemaker electrodes
- Any kind of metal/foreign objects in the body (except dental filling)
- Undergone heart surgery

We cover an inconvenience remuneration of 200 DKK for the first hour and then 150 per. started hour (minimum 350 DKK). The whole experiment will last approximately 4 hours.
