The national 7-tesla MRI scanner was installed after generous donations from the John and Birthe Meyer Foundation and the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation. This scanner is the most powerful and the only one of its kind in Denmark, and has been officially in use since 2016. The scanner is dedicated for research only.
DRCMR has a strong focus on non-invasive transcranial brain stimulation (NTBS) to study and shape human brain function.
- designed to run both technologically driven projects as well as in vivo animal neuroscience projects using our preclinical scanner facilities and the 7T Bruker Preclinical scanner
At DRCMR we have 5 state-of-the-art neurophysiology laboratories dedicated to non-invasive brain stimulation (NTBS) and Electroencephalography (EEG) as well as a brand new hardware lab

As a student you have the opporunity to do a resarch year before finilizing your studies. You become part of a research group and you also write your master's thesis at the same time.
