Postdoc Melissa Larsen from DRCMR has received a research grant of DKK 1.9 million from the Lundbeck Foundation. 

Her project seeks to identify patterns in the changes underlying brain functions and brain structures linked to a risk of developing psychosis. The studies involve sophisticated scanning methods.

Melissa Larsen is interested in the brain mechanisms and the connectivity underpinnings of psychotic symptoms and how these develop in the brain, and, in particular, in how predictive processes and oscillatory activity are disturbed in psychiatric disorders.
