[EXPIRED] Research Consultant/Personal Assistant Opening

The Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance (DRCMR) at Hvidovre Hospital is looking for a research consultant and personal assistant for professor Hartwig R. Siebner.

The DRCMR is one of the leading research centers for biomedical Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in Europe (www.drcmr.dk). Our mission is to triangulate MRI physics, basic physiology, and clinical research. Approximately 70 researchers from a diverse range of disciplines and nationalities are currently pursuing basic and clinically applied MRI, electrophysiology, and brain stimulation research with a focus on the human brain and its disorders.

The position

As research consultant / personal assistant you will be working with a wide range of research support tasks, spanning from the strategic development of the research centre to hands-on organization of seminars and courses. In close cooperation with the DRCMR management you are expected to work with

  • Strategic planning and initiation of major national and international research activities
  • Preparation and support of funding applications
  • Project coordination in collaborative projects
  • Project administration incl. financial management
  • Planning and coordination of project-related, HR-related and strategic seminars
  • Coordination and reporting to relevant authorities in clinical trials
  • Preparation of annual reports and summary statistics of the centre’s activities
  • Contribution to external and internal communications

The ideal candidate

You should have a relevant education and academic background, preferably within the healthcare sector. It would be an advantage if you have experience with and understanding of the research community, including communication and politics. We expect you to act and make results in a challenging, interdisciplinary, and international environment.

More specifically, experience within one or more of the following areas is an advantage:

  • Strategic research and project planning
  • Research project management (scientific and financial)
  • Supporting grant applications
  • Research communication
  • Clinical trials administration

You should furthermore be a good communicator and proficient in English and preferably in Danish, have strong interpersonal skills, be extrovert, self-supporting and responsible, and able to take the lead.

What we offer

A developing and challenging job in an exciting, international work environment with great potential of influencing both the job and the development of the centre. The contract is for 3 years initially with good possibilities of extension.

Salary, pension and terms of employment are in accordance with the agreement between the Danish Regions (Danske Regioner) and the relevant professional organization. The salary depends on background and seniority. Further supplements can be negotiated.

Our weekly working hours are 37, but flexible. Part-time may also be an option.
