A two-year full time position for a research assistant with a focus on data management.
The Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance (DRCMR) located at Hvidovre Hospital is looking for a motivated research assistant in the field of data management.
The Job
The job involves developing, implementing and documenting data harmonization protocols, i.e. technical and semantic data standards, and quality protocols to unify and bridge different coding standards of target variables between partners in the EU-funded Lifebrain project, Horizon 2020. Moreover, you will contribute to the implementation of the EU Lifebrain project database and data sharing infrastructure, and overall data management. The Lifebrain project aims to identify determinants of brain, cognitive and mental health at different stages of life by creating and exploiting a large multi-center database (N > 18000; MRI scans > 6300) of detailed information about brain imaging, cognitive function, mental health, and genetics.
Additionally, you will contribute to the setup of the Bispebjerg Movement Disorders Database and Biobank at the department of Neurology at Bisbebjerg Hospital. The Movement Disorders Database and Biobank will contain clinical and behavioral data from individuals who are suspected of having or have been diagnosed with a neurological disease along with biochemical and genetic data generated from biospecimens from these patients. The Movement Disorders Database and Biobank aims to follow patients prospectively and identify clinical, imaging, biochemical and genetic biomarkers that allow for early diagnosis, better patient stratification and the development of individualized treatment strategies.
